I think I have known Angela and Stephan (aka mom + dad) for 8 years now? It's hard to remember, time flies. I shot their engagement and wedding years ago and have been documenting their little family ever since - thats one of my favorite things btw, I get to witness the most beautiful gifts- BABIES! We scheduled this session to celebrate Beckett turning two this month! He is such a little sweetie, this session made me even more excited to be a boy mom (soon! baby M coming this fall!)
When I photograph families at home, I like to capture the elements of their daily life - what is it baby likes to do? Where do you play? What are some favorite toys? Etc. I truly believe that it is the little things that become the big things. I get excited knowing that one day the family will look back on these sweet memories and smile. Life happens fast, it's worth slowing down with a camera to savor.
