When I was a little girl, I had this little red snoopy camera and a desire to be a photographer, just like my Grandpa, who passed away before I got to know him. Since then I have always had a camera and a hunger for seeing really beautiful things. My favorite subject of all, is love. I love it. It is enchanting, elusive, curious, playful, silly, beautiful, etc. etc. Love is just the best, isn't it?
I am a family person, coming from a big Italian family and marrying into an equally excitable British family, I find the ever changing nuances of life to be so fascinating. Where we come from, who we live with, and who we share life with. Relationship. I am married to a dreamer, who fuels and pushes, and inspires me to dive deeper into life, every single day. Being a photographer is a part of who I am, how I see the world guides my focus, and has led me to destinations far beyond my wildest dreams. I am thankful for that little red snoopy camera, which since has evolved into a slightly fancier camera, for that is how I have been fortunate enough to bare witness to so many beautiful experiences.
My absolute favorite part of being a photographer is the presence it requires. To find good light, and look for the moments. That's my jam. I love to be a part of life's transitions- from newborn babies up to weddings, and back through the whole circle again, I love it all. I love to encourage play and laughter in my sessions, because that is what we will want to remember, isn't it? Joy. Happiness. Love. Capturing the essence of a wedding ceremony, or the first breath of new life, or little ones giggling and learning new things. Life offers us so many beautiful little moments, and that is why I do this- so people can look back at their photos and say "hey, that is my family. I love my family", again and again, as life continues to evolve and transition. Photography is important, it is what we leave behind to show our children, and their children, and so on and so forth.
I am sure you get it, I am passionate and a lover of light. I am grateful you took the time to read this. I insist on chemistry on a shoot- so if you are interested in working with me, reach out! I would love to chat.
Peace + Love,
