Hello! Long time no see, since I last posted I have been to Spain and Switzerland! Which I intend to post about at some point…but first, an overwhelming amount of wedding photos to deal with. Here is a quick little post from this weekend’s wedding with Kristeen LaBrot - she rocks. This wedding was totally a blast for her, since it was all things comic! Between her and the couple (Mike and Maegan) there were so many fun and personal details! I love when a wedding completely displays the couple’s personalities perfectly, like this.

More to come, but enjoy these for now!

prepare for the sap, because its coming- this is my little brother, Danny. He is graduating from high school (my rival school..Go Bulldogs!) but none the less, its not about mascots. I can’t believe he is not that weird crazy toe headed little boy, he is a man! I really got emotional photographing him last month, its a totally different perspective of looking at someone through a lens and especially different retouching them. I have never thought that we looked alike until I shot the photo of him in the fire helmet, like twins! Speaking of his helmet, and the ax too- he has been in the fire explorer program for the past 3 years and is looking to become a fire fighter in the near future. I am so proud of the amazing young man that is “little” Danny!

Yes, I don’t care if you are bigger than me now..you will always be my Little Danny! Congratulations on your graduation!

Good morning! Its almost the weekend, woot woot! and its the start to a sting of wedding madness for this photographer! holy cow, I won’t have a free weekend for a couple of months…but I love what I do and I can’t complain!

Enough about me, lets talk about these two lovelies. Christa and Cody, aka the cutest couple EVER. Anyone who knows these two, would agree. I have known Cody and Christa for some time now and was SO excited when they asked me to shoot their wedding. Christa is also a wedding photographer (which is always a huge compliment when another photographer hires you) and one of the most creative girls I know. She did some really cool things for her wedding, but my favorite was all of her calligraphy- it was all over the place! I would have to say that this wedding has made my top 3 list- I really really can’t express how awesome the day was! It was clearly being blessed by someone up there… raining allll week and then stopping and revealing beautiful sunny skies for just the day?! Seriously? There are a couple of photos in here where Cody and Christa prayed together before the ceremony (not seeing each other)- probably my favorite moment of any wedding I have ever shot… such a beautiful thing!

Alright, I will stop blabbering and let the photos talk- I am better at that part anyways.

Have a great weekend!
