wow, what an exciting weekend! I feel like I have had my camera attached to my hand for the past week- just how I like it! I had scheduled shoots all weekend, and on Sunday morning got the news of an impromptu shoot that I just couldn’t pass up. Two of my very good friends were getting engaged! I have never been so nervous to photograph something in my life, holy moly. Dani and Austin have been together for over 7 years, so it was no surprise when Austin decided to pop the question- frankly I knew that was exactly what was about to happen when Hailey (best friend/roommate) got the call from her mom over breakfast. To make a long story short, Austin proposed to the love of his life Dani at their house warming party in front of both of their families and lots of great friends. Needless to say, I was a crying mess! I am such a softy, when will I become numb to all this wedding love? I hope never!

I am so so so happy for these two, and SO excited to party it up with you at your wedding without a camera in my hand! (we will see if I can even leave it at home). Congratulations to the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Smith!

of course we HAD to take some portraits outside in front of their new home…and with WILLOW!

I couldn’t be happier for you guys, you are a real example of true love. Love you guys!

Hi! I am excited to share these, just because I really really love photographing babies/toddlers as they grow- A year ago I photographed Ava as a newborn, now she is one! It is so fun to see kids grow! I can live vicariously through my clients for the next several years until I get to that point in my life…but not yet! Not even close! haha for now, its Ava- she is so stinkin cute! and quite the fashionista..I mean check out those shades! Anywho- I love this family and can’t wait for more babies from them!

Enjoy!

Hello! What a weekend. Its wedding season alright! I am a little behind on blogging, as usual- but today I just wanted to post some fun images from Heather and Josh’s wedding! Heather is a genius. Seriously. A creative GENIUS! She had so many fun details and an incredible location, the Jim Henson Company Lot- yes, Kermit’s house. It was filled with fun and funky details, food trucks, pinatas, a serious par-tay. It was a blast working with the ever so talented ladies at pink cloud 9, love them!

Anyways, enjoy these pictures, and hopefully I get back in the habit of blogging! or at least try to form a habit of blogging…

This week has been really really crazy! a few ups and a few downs- but like those of you who follow my instagram saw, you have to “train your mind to see the good in everything”.. I am not going to elaborate, you can just chew on that for yourself! SO…the good news… my best friend Hailey and I signed our lease to our pretty little apartment in Costa Mesa! I cannot wait! We move in September 3rd…the pinterest boards are growing and my skin is covered in paint, let the DIY-ing commence!

Anyways, enough about me- check out these two! Ben and Bethani are engaged and I cannot wait to shoot their wedding! Their engagement session at Balboa went great, we had so much fun and got some really pretty and fun shots. Its always fun to photograph people who are just oozing love for one another, makes my job so much easier!

Enjoy!

First off, I love having clients with the same name as me. Just sayin. Amanda (not me) and Jorge have such great style! I am in love with their classy style and how it all worked so well with the location! We shot at the Griffith Observatory and caught that pretty smoggy California sunset- always a winner.

I can’t wait to shoot Amanda and Jorge’s wedding, which will be old Hollywood theme! SO EXCITED!

Enjoy, and Happy Monday!
